Responsibilities

        Brent S. Sherrod, P.E is responsible for client contact, business development, engineering design and project supervision.  He has twenty (20) years of municipal experience in project management, project engineering, and civil design, and five (5) years of underground utility construction experience.  He has managed and designed street improvements, commercial and industrial site developments, planning studies, industrial, residential and commercial subdivisions, and utility and drainage projects.  He has supervised land surveying assignments for mapping, right-of-way and easement acquisition, design and construction.  Mr. Sherrod also has experience dealing with various state and federal regulatory agencies.  He has successfully prepared applications for Letters of Map Revisions from FEMA, coordinated the preparation and submittal of SRF (State Revolving Fund) Applications, and has been responsible for the preparation of applications and management of TxDOT Enhancements and Roadway.

Responsibilities

        Brian W. Rodel, P. E. is responsible for managing and designing commercial and residential land development projects from preliminary phase to construction. He has five years of project design and project management experience in a variety of Civil Engineering applications. Mr. Rodel is proficient in preparing land plans for commercial and residential developments to maximize land use and minimize construction cost. He has also designed streets, detention ponds, storm sewer lines, sanitary sewer lines and water lines for many developments. Some of Mr. Rodel’s other duties at ACES include conducting drainage and cost feasibility studies and preparing bid documents.

Danielle Singh

        While at Texas A&M University Danielle Cantler  specialized in Transportation Engineering.  Ms. Cantler has experience in highway design according to ASHTO standards and is up to date with current traffic issues and procedures.  Ms. Cantler is responsible for site and subdivision detailed design under the direction of staff Professional Engineers.  She has successfully completed various site development projects and has proven to be invaluable in the design of projects that include roadway or pavement design.

Responsibilities

        Rick Rambin is responsible for the management and completion of the drafting for site and subdivision design, including water, sewer, pavement and drainage.  He has twenty (20) plus years of experience in civil drafting and design performance and management.  He has several years of experience teaching design and drafting at the college level.  He prepares various permits and plat drawings for state and local agencies required to construct projects.  Mr. Rambin prepares quantities for detailed cost estimates for projects.   He inspects construction projects in the field. Mr. Rambin is responsible for preparing drawings from field notes, lining out survey crews, and calculating the field notes.  He is our on site server administrator for network on a dozen workstations.  He trains CAD personnel on the latest up to date software to be more productive and keep cost to our valued clients to a minimum.

Stephanie Johnson

Responsibilities

        Stephanie Johnson is responsible for the drafting on various projects including commercial site plans and subdivision design under the supervision of the CAD Manager.  She also has experience in preparing permit drawings, plats, and landstudy drawings. Mrs. Johnson started at ACES in 2006 in our accounting department. She then started drafting during her down time and soon proved herself capable of becoming a full blown AutoCAD technician. She has three (3) plus years of drafting experience.

Kindra Insel

Kindra Insel is responsible for the administrative side of projects starting with the preparation of proposals and ending with the completion of the project. Ms. Insel has three and a half years of experience working in an engineering environment and eight years in the customer service field. She prepares submittals for review by government agencies, handles client contact regarding progects and maintains client records. She has experience dealing with city and state agencies and has been involved in the preparation of application for TxDOT Enhancement, Roadway Projects and various permits. Additionally she has assisted on various municipal utility projects from the design phase through the end of the project including easement accusation and document preparation. She has a vast knowledge of our firm as well as many government agency guidelines for development in the Conroe and Montgomery County area.

Sherron Boswell

Sherron Boswell recently joined ACES. She is responsible for billing, payables, and all day to day accounting and human rescources activities. Mrs. Boswell has 25 years experience in accounting and enjoys helping our customers and vendors with any questions. She has already proved to be a great addition to our company in the short time she has been here.

Darby Sherrod

Darby Sherrod is a part-time employee who works a few days a week after school during the school year and full day in the summer. She is an assistant to everyone: she is well versed with both AutoCAD and Quickbooks and is capable of secretarial duties, accounting on a small scale, and drafting. She is also the web page designer and official errand runner.
